Once Andrew Pierce and Ashley Hudson were at church together in Hamburg they realized there was only one way to go. Ashley Hudson was just 17 and had never ever had a relationship prior to that, so they decided to take it slow. But it was truly an affair that was love at first sight. It was New Year's Eve right before the start of 2016 Andrew asked God to grant him one more thing in the season... in the hope that Ashley was willing to accept the offer and get married to Andrew. Ashley was looking for traditional, rustic wedding themes which reflected her as well as Andrew. The big day was the reason why they put together a lot items they love. The venue chosen was on the back 40 acres of the land Ashley lived on as a child. Ashley and Andrew have played with each other, explored the land and walked along the entire trail that led to the wedding field. Andrew and Ashley were walking through the same location when they first started together. Individualization was crucial since Andrew and Ashley did the majority of the ceremony themselves. Ashley was the artist and created many of the decorations, and Andrew and Ashley's father made the ceremony arch and seating.
